Vladivostok, October 22, 2026. With the support of the International Coordination Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT), the IV Far Eastern Logistics Forum took place in Vladivostok. The forum brought together representatives of government authorities, transport companies, ports and cargo owners from the Far Eastern region.
CCTT Secretary General Mikhail Goncharov spoke at the plenary session "The Transport and Logistics Map of the Far East: Who Is Building It, and How?" Participants discussed the development of transport infrastructure in the macro-region, the potential of the Northern Sea Route, and the role of the Far East as the "eastern gateway" of the Trans-Siberian route as trade flows are redirected toward Asian markets.
"Today, the Far East is not only a key entry point for container cargo coming into Russia, but also a growing exit point for export cargo heading to the Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asia. The industry's task is to turn growing cargo volumes into predictable, well-coordinated supply chains, with clear transit times, tariffs and reliability along the entire route," said Mikhail Goncharov.
The forum's business program included a business dialogue, "International Container Logistics: Business Cases and the Impact of Macroeconomics." The discussion was moderated by CCTT Deputy Secretary General Natalia Stepanova. Participants reviewed practical cases from carriers and cargo owners, the effect of macroeconomic conditions on container shipping, and the prospects for developing international routes through the Far East.
The discussion brought together representatives of Russian Railways (Far Eastern Center for Freight Transportation Services), the FESCO transport group (Dalreftrans), the Changchun International Land Port (CCLIP), Global Group Holding LLC, the Russian Export Center, the Federal Customs Service, Behine Tarabar Azhur, the Far Eastern Customs Administration, Amur GCC LLC and LOGOPER LLC. Among the cases presented was a new multimodal service for export cargo along the Khasan – Tumangang – Rajin port route, with access to markets in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Southeast Asia (SEA). The project is being discussed at CCTT and Russian Export Center venues.
