CCTT Secretariat
On June 17, 2026, the CCTT Secretariat hosted a presentation of the Digital Logistics Platform «VEGA» within the framework of the Digital Transit Working Group. The platform was developed by the Russian University of Transport (RUT (MIIT)) as part of the Priority 2030 program.
The event was held in a hybrid format and brought together representatives of leading companies from the transport and logistics sector. Participants reviewed the capabilities of the new digital ecosystem designed to ensure effective interaction between all industry players.

The Digital Logistics Platform «VEGA» was created to serve the needs of transport and logistics service market participants, including railway and terminal infrastructure owners, railway rolling stock operators, container fleet operators, and wagon repair enterprises. Its purpose is to optimize communication processes between participants through transition to digital interaction in various business processes.
During the presentation, the following key platform capabilities were demonstrated:
- Wagon Provision Module — a system for searching clients and available wagons, order coordination, and service monitoring
- Container Provision Module — a tool for managing the container fleet
- Services Module for Non-Public Railway Tracks — a solution for finding wagon storage locations and electronic document management
- Wagon Repair and Maintenance Module — a platform for interaction with wagon repair enterprises
The implementation of the «VEGA» platform will enable:
- Timely formation and dispatch of container trains through management of the replacement fleet
- Acceleration of wagon and container turnover through automated planning and operational exchange of rolling stock and containers
- Reduction of empty runs of freight wagons by selecting optimal options for directing wagons to storage
- Optimization of rolling stock operation processes through a unified digital environment
- Improvement of customer service quality
- Optimization and forecasting of infrastructure load for non-public railway tracks
- Reduction of load on Russian Railways infrastructure
Following the presentation, participants were invited to join the platform testing. The project received high recognition from the professional community as an important step in the development of digital logistics and optimization of trans-Eurasian transportation.
