During the meeting, issues related to the development of liner shipping services, the state of the domestic shipbuilding industry, and creating competitive conditions for Russian shipping companies and marine service operators were discussed.
The meeting participants – representatives of shipbuilding companies and operators – discussed the development of the national shipbuilding industry and the sustainable provision of technical fleet operations. In particular, they addressed operating under sanctions pressure, restrictions on component supplies, difficulties with repairs, bunkering, and financial settlements, while maintaining competitiveness.
The meeting participants also discussed expanding the geographical scope of liner services between the ports of China, India, and Vietnam and Russian ports, in both the Far Eastern and Northwestern basins.
