The CCTT Secretariat hosted a working meeting dedicated to the current state and prospects of the temperature-sensitive cargo transportation market. The event was held as part of the implementation of the CCTT ColdChain project aimed at creating a reliable and efficient uninterrupted cold chain along trans-Eurasian routes.
The event was attended by representatives of:
- Transport and logistics companies
- Shippers
- Industry associations
- CCTT partner organizations
The participants discussed key challenges and opportunities faced by the market in transporting perishable products, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other temperature-sensitive cargo.

- Current State of Food Temperature-Sensitive Cargo Transportation. Presentation by Mikhail Sinyov, CCTT ColdChain Project Manager and President of the Association of Food Sector Organizations (ASORPS).
- Working Group on Agrologistics at the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Transport. Presentation by Dmitry Antonov, Head of the Working Group and Senior Vice President, Director for External Relations and Sustainable Development at GAP “Resurs”.
- Experience of Logistics Operators and Shippers. Presentation by Alexey Filatov, Deputy Commercial Director for Business Development at Dalreftrans LLC. Successful cases of organizing multimodal transportation of temperature-sensitive cargo. Supply operations to APAC and Middle East countries. Potential cargo base ready to switch to regular railway and multimodal routes.
- Assessment and Forecast of Cold Logistics Sustainability in 2026. Presentation by Marat Zembatov, Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research at the Institute of Public and Municipal Administration, HSE University. Analysis of raw material sources and production capacities for refrigerant components. Forecast data on supply chain stability.
The meeting participants concluded that there is a need to strengthen coordination between all chain links — from producer to end consumer. The CCTT reaffirmed its role as a platform for dialogue and development of industry initiatives. In the near future, it is planned to prepare proposals to support energy-efficient projects in cold chain logistics.
